Terms of Service

The terms for using AFPConnect and AFP.bot, and the bots you make and use there.

Last updated October 29, 2026

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and BotPro Technologies (“we”, “us”) for your use of afpconnect.com, afp.bot, the apps at app.afpconnect.com and app.afp.bot, and the bots you make and use there (together, “AFP”). By creating an account or using AFP, you agree to them. If you use AFP for a business, you agree for that business and confirm you may.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Give us accurate information, and keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • A business account must be for a business you own or are authorized to act for, and websites you add must be yours to manage.
  • Tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account.

Your bots and what they do

Your bots act for you, within the skills, connections and permissions you give them. You are responsible for how you use them and for what they do on your instructions.

  • You approve consequential steps. A bot asks before it buys, pays, posts, deletes, or changes account settings on a website, and before it moves, labels or deletes your email. An approval covers only the exact step shown, once.
  • Bots don’t send email for you. A bot saves a draft for you to review; you choose to send it.
  • Check what matters. AI can make mistakes. Review a bot’s answers and proposals before relying on them or approving them.
  • Use other services by their rules. When your bot uses a website or an account you connected, you remain responsible for following that service’s terms.

Your content

What you put into AFP (your messages, files, bot faces, business information) and what your bots produce for you is yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run AFP for you and the people you share with. You confirm you have the right to use what you upload.

Rules for using AFP

Do not use AFP, or a bot, to:

  • break the law, or violate others’ rights, including their privacy and intellectual property;
  • harass, deceive or defraud people, impersonate someone, or hide that people are talking to a bot when they ask;
  • send spam or unwanted messages;
  • get into accounts, systems or data you are not allowed to use, or get around CAPTCHAs, rate limits or other protections;
  • make medical, legal, financial or other high-stakes decisions about people without human review;
  • create sexual content involving minors, or content that promotes violence or abuse;
  • interfere with AFP, test its security without our written permission, or copy or resell it.

Some websites, such as patient portals and health insurers, are off limits to bots. We may refuse a task that breaks these rules.

Business bots and websites

If you publish a bot on your business’s website, you are responsible for what it tells your customers, for telling them they are talking to a bot, and for your own privacy notice to them. Information about your business that you give your bot should be accurate. Your personal memories and connected accounts are never used by your business bots.

Sharing and lending bots

When you share a bot with a link, invite people to a room, or lend a bot, the people you share with can use it as you allowed, until it expires or you stop sharing. You remain responsible for the bot you shared. When you use someone else’s bot, its owner decides what it can do.

Plugins and other services

AFP connects to services run by others, such as Gmail, Outlook and the websites your bot visits, and offers plugins we have reviewed. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. Third-party listings shown in our marketplace are for information only.

Plans and pricing

Discovery is free. Paid plans and metered usage are coming soon; prices will be published before they apply, and you will not be charged for anything you have not agreed to. Until then, we may set usage limits on AI models, voice, text messages and other services to keep AFP fair and available.

Changes to AFP

AFP is new and improving quickly. We may add, change or remove features. Some features are labeled preview or demo; they may change or stop and may not work perfectly.

Ending your use

You can stop using AFP at any time and ask us to delete your account through the Support page in your account (app.afpconnect.com/support). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or that the law requires us to, and we will tell you why when we can.

Disclaimers

AFP is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that AFP or any bot will be uninterrupted, error-free or accurate, or fit a particular purpose. Answers and actions produced by AI may be wrong.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, BotPro Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about AFP is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

If you use AFP for a business, that business will cover our reasonable costs from claims arising from its bots, content or breach of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will update the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using AFP after that, the new terms apply.
